Hello all, Is there a way to check for errors in dates? Somehow or other, a number of my dates have lost the final digit in the year (so, 25 Dec 194). I don't quite know when it happened so can't fathom out a reason, and I don't think I have done anything major anyway! There seems to be an extra space appearing between the month and year. If I could find a list of the error dates, I could spend an evening checking up the exact year. Thanks Ruth
What Version do you use? 7.4.3? Have Your Re-index Is the lost in Edit or in report? To Ruth Wilson If you go to Edit to view a date, is the last digit missing when you view it there? Or is it only missing when you are printing a Custom List where the length of the date field is limited? The program does not change a Date field in the database unless you used "Global Search and Replace" Anyway, one way to find bad dates is to run the report Other, Reasonableness Report.
