I've been using BK's internal text editor, which lacks punctuation- and spell-checking ability for well over 20 years now. As I attempt to finally "clean up" my research text files, it has become "odiously onerous" just wading through the numerous text errors that exist, copying and pasting spelling, punctuation, formatting. etc., corrections back and forth from MS Word to BK. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding using text editors other than the one native to BK? Thanks in advance for any ideas.
To John Stewart I have not used any, but a few years ago, there were programs available from the Internet, that could spell check text in different programs. So you should be able to use one of those to spell check the text box in Brother's Keeper without moving the data. John Steed ________________________________ From: John M. For very many years I have been using EditPad, written by Jan Gaeverts when he was a civil engineering student in Belgium. He now lives in Phuket, Thaliand.There is a free version EditPad Lite and a paid version EditPad Pro.I just use the free version.It can use inutlitple tabs, making it easy to copy and paste between several text files. I have not used it, but a Google search found "Spell Check Anywhere" which says it works in Windows programs.
