My friend who is using BK 6.6, windows 10, and has the following error *wbtrv32.dl. *Says it will not load correctly.. I tried the fixes on the BK web page and they did not work. I copied that file into BK and that did not work. She says it happened after a windows update and a virus program(AVG) that told her it was malware and so she did what they said. How can I correct this? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Jude

To Jude The old BK 6.6 version sometimes has a problem with Windows 10 updates. It would be best to convert to BK 7.3 which does not use wbtrv32.dll (it is only needed when converting data from 6 to 7, and I can convert the files for you if that is a problem.) If you need to run the old 6.6 version, then tell Windows to restore the previous system settings (before the most recent Win 10 update). Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Update, and restore to a date before the recent update. Also tell AVG that BK and the DLL files for BK are safe to use. www.bkwin.net/version7.htm<http://www.bkwin.net/version7.htm> for version 7.3 or order from www.OrderBK.com<http://www.OrderBK.com> John Steed ________________________________ From: Jude <jude19@gmail.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 20, 2019 4:06 PM To: bk@rootsweb.com Subject: [BK] BK6.6 My friend who is using BK 6.6, windows 10, and has the following error *wbtrv32.dl. *Says it will not load correctly.. I had the same problem in BK6 after a WIN10 update. After a lot of testing, I found: When WIN10 updates from build 1803 to 1809, this error is solid. It does not exist in BK7, so I installed BK7. But but but, when I started data conversion from BK6 to BK7. the same problem showed up again. Solution: 1. Remove the WIN10 build 1809 = downgrade to 1803. 2. Now run the BK6 to BK7 data conversion. 3. Re-install WIN10 build 1809. Now it works! Suggestion: If you are still on BK6, switch to BK7 BEFORE Microsoft automatically install build 1809.
