Before I ask this question, I will just say that I have been a registered BK user for many, many years (remember DOS). I don't even remember the first version I used. I have been in contact with the very small historical and genealogy society in a small mid-Western town. I have offered them my GEDCOM file, but they said they didn't have the facilities (they have some old computer) to use it, but suggested I sent it to their small library. I will do this. However, I thought it would be nice to send all of my "stuff" in a nicer "format," e. g., BK. So I am going to send them my data files, text files, and images. I am also going to send them the latest version (7.0.49) of BK (without the registration number, of course). I would like to advise them of the limitations, if any, of the unregistered version. Could someone please let me know what they are. Incidentally, if they tell me they like it and would use it I'll register it for them. Of course, John, I would do any of this, except the latter <grin>, only with your permission, John. Jim Mayor South Albany, VT
