I'm trying to back up to a 5TB new external-drive but BK tells me the drive is not big enough. What??? John Cullom Westminster, MD USA
John As we know BK is a great programme, maybe even ahead of it's time .. So 5TB may be too small in a couple of years .. I remember using a Z80 chipped machine with huge memory, 256kb. Then later I bought a pc with a huge 10MB disk drive. I imagine the issue is simply that John Steed and crew have not yet worked with the specs for your new 'small drive', so the programme may not be able to ascertain the drive size. Interesting to find out what the issue may be ... Regards John Bright with a wide grin...
To John Cullom Sometimes the drive is too big and BK gets confused. The solution is when you are on the backup screen and before you start the backup press the F4 key on your keyboard and it will pop up a message saying that it will ignore the disk full problem. Then do the backup.
