I use GedStar Pro. Works on my phone and tablet. The program is installed on your computer and the app on your phone/tablet. You create a gedcom file with whatever options you want in the file. Then, open GedStar Pro on your computer, run it through to convert the file to be readable on your phone. I have this file load to my Dropbox folder. Then, open Dropbox and click on the file. It opens the info in GedStar on my phone and tablet. Voila! I've always got my most updated file of genealogy available. Comes in quite handy like at our recent family reunion. I had my laptop back at the house, but we were at the beach and everyone was asking me questions. Pulled out my phone and could answer right then and there. It's not a free program, but to me well worth the cost. Which ways have our BK users found best to have their family information easily findable while away from any computer? So, with a screen as small as a smart phone, how can you usefully bring up information? Stress, it has to be fast and easy to find and readable. Presumably this can be done from some database information stored and updated in the phone itself. But also, it could be called in from cloud storage.
