Hi John - Maybe my old gray head is stuck way back in the "BK 5 epoch", but I have never used custom events even when there really is a need, because somewhere long ago I seem to remember that someone told me that they do not transfer with GEDCOMs. I don't use GEDCOMs very often nowadays, I do most of my information passing with large .pdf Register Reports, but in the back of my head, I keep thinking that they could mess up my info. Is that still true? The one I always wished for (and still do) is one to use for TITLE (e.g., 3rd Earl of Cheshire, Esquire, Archbishop of Canterbury, Knight Banneret, and some political, organizational, and formal honorary titles. I have always lumped them in with OCCUPATION, but that's really not a good fit. Any thoughts of what others due, or what custom label they use? Paul J.
