As I read Lists/Surnames, Steve, the two options are for all surnames in the database or surnames of descendants of a given person. I'm on BK 7.0.49 and on the Other Options tab there are 3 options relating to that Everyone Only the descendants of Only the ancestors of You can include spouses or not.
