I have recently been using the new "Compare two databases" routine. I have found that it works really well but have found a possible problem relating to the carryover of marriage data with two or more spouses. The problem only occurs when a person has been married/partnered at least twice but only has a marriage date and/or place for the first marriage. If you add the data for the first marriage then add the second spouse the marriage data from the first marriage will display with the details of the second spouse. It is possible to delete the second marriage data manually but if you are not aware of the situation it could cause problems if it is overlooked. Is the routine meant to carryover the marriage data from one marriage to the next or is this a mistake? I am using the latest version of the program, 6.5.4 date of 6 Dec. 2011. My database has 23,000 names and the database I am comparing it to has over 90,000 names. Bye Karlena
