They're pretty much synonymous. But... Bury has other uses besides burying a person (see bury #3, 4, and 5). It is used even if there is no dirt involved as in "buried at sea." (see bury #2). Inter is a synonym but more often used with regard to a person and earth. We don't inter a pirate's chest (see inter #1). Neither do we say "interred at sea." And I would never inter myself, anywhere. I think "interred" implies that a person has died. I've never heard the term "interred alive." from Dictionary.com bury - verb (used with object), bur·ied, bur·y·ing. 1. to put in the ground and cover with earth: The pirates buried the chest on the island. 2. to put (a corpse) in the ground or a vault, or into the sea, often with ceremony: They buried the sailor with full military honors. 3. to plunge in deeply; cause to sink in: to bury an arrow in a target. 4. to cover in order to conceal from sight: She buried the card in the deck. 5. to immerse (oneself): He buried himself in his work. inter - verb (used with object), in·terred, in·ter·ring. 1. to place (a dead body) in a grave or tomb; bury. 2. Obsolete . to put into the earth. Regards, Roy Marriott On Wed, Feb 20, 2019 at 2:04 PM J. P. Gilliver (John) <G6JPG-255@255soft.uk> wrote: > > ... interred and buried? > -- > J. P. Gilliver. To Jude The old BK 6.6 version sometimes has a problem with Windows 10 updates. It would be best to convert to BK 7.3 which does not use wbtrv32.dll (it is only needed when converting data from 6 to 7, and I can convert the files for you if that is a problem.) If you need to run the old 6.6 version, then tell Windows to restore the previous system settings (before the most recent Win 10 update). Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Update, and restore to a date before the recent update. I tried the fixes on the BK web page and they did not work. I copied that file into BK and that did not work. She says it happened after a windows update and a virus program(AVG) that told her it was malware and so she did what they said. How can I correct this? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Hi, It means that the wbtrv32.dll file is corrupted. A good solution would be to do a complete re-install of BK6.6, not just an update. And to tell AVG that all the files associated to BK are legitimate. BK6.6.19 is still available on BK's pages (http://www.bkwin.net/version6.htm). Or a better solution, to install BK7. To Ginny Kerr The FindAgrave field will print on Ancestor Chart, Group Sheets, and Custom Lists (Lists, Alphabetical Report, field 27) You can also search for people that have it with Lists, Word Search, and on the right side is FindAGrave so click in that field and then press F3 (Function 3) and it will say <not empty> and then make a list or report and it will be people that have something in that field.
