I'm still adding more information on the Bittinger family each day. My daughter in law's grandmother was Ruth Bittinger of Natrona Hgts, Allegheny Co.,Pa. a member of the John Bittinger family. All information I have found states John Bittinger was from Franklin Co.,PA which his death notice filed in the Armstrong Co. Courthouse stated, no parents listed. Born March 2, 1832 Franklin Co.,PA and died April 14, 1897 in Armstrong Co.,PA. Buried at Pleasant Union Lutheran Church Cemetery with his 1st wife Sarah Schrecengost and some of their children. Catherine Jubee Bargerstock Neal Bittinger is buried at Concord Presbsyterian Church Cemetery, Wayne Twp., Armstrong Co.,Pa with the Bargerstock family. Appreciate a reply.
