She d 28 Jul 1881& is buried in Toulon, IL. Their oldest child, Philip David Fast was b 9 Apr 1819 in Ashland, OH. David's parents were Christian Fast and Anna Barbara Mason Fast. Christian Fast was the son of Nicklaus Fast. I am descended from Philip's daughter Jane Elizabeth Fast who married James Walter Miller. They married in Stark County, IL but moved to Nodaway County Missouri about 1871 where my grandfather was born. Both James & Jane are buried in the Ohio Cemetery near Burlington Junction, MO. Do any of these people fit into your tree? The names Bittinger, Faust and Miller are in my family also. Some of the Faust descendants retained the spelling Faust and some are known as Fast.
