State & county if you know. My Bittinger family lived in Armstrong County, PA. There are at least two branches of Bittingers in Armstrong Co., PA and I have not been able to connect the two families. My John Bittinger married Sarah Schrecengost and then married for a second time to Catherine Jubee Bargerstock Neal. Widow of Robert Neal. I have found NO parents for John Bittinger. His death notice at the courthouse list no parent information. John Bittinger is listed in one item I have as coming from Franklin Co., Maryland, not sure if this is correct.
