I have been in contact with a descendant of Adam BITNER (William Jr., William Sr.) who describes a genetic disease in that Bitner line. The disorder is called Hereditary Ataxia. Its actually a family of genetic disorders and I'm trying to find out what type this person has and how its transmitted through the generations. This is an important find in Bitner lineage. Have any of you found any reference to any member of your Bitners that is described as being overly clumsy as if constantly drunk, mental retardation, dementia, blindness, sensory loss, seizures?
