    3. There is a Henry mentioned in the 1887 Portrait and Biographical Album of Coles County (p. 422) as a deceased son of Wm III. According to the tombstone of Henry BITNER who is in the St. Omer Cemetery, he died 7-19-1861 @ 47yrs 7mos 9days. That would place is birth at 22 Dec 1813 which is out of the range of him possibly being Wm III's Henry. This is even too early to be Wm. Jr's & Catherine McCONNEL's Henry. He would have to have 1) been a son of Susannah ORRIS, or 2) an unrelated BITNER. I know that Wm. III came to IL in 1846, Henry would have been 32 at the time and probably married and established in his own household. He doesn't appear in the 1850 Coles Co. census, so didn't migrate with Wm III. Henry BETNER appears in the 1860 census, a farmer 45 yrs old, with real estate worth $750 and personal estate of $200. There are no others listed in his household. There must be a will or probate records which would establish his connection. Does anyone have a piece of this puzzle? Happy Hunting, Frank W.
