My 3rd great grandfather, Jacob Bitner, was born abt 1816 in PA and died in Franklin Co. 11 May 1884. He married Nancy Hege. My 4th great grandfather was also Jacob Bitner. I believe he was born abt 1793-95 and died in Franklin Co. after 1860 (possibly after 1870--I'm not sure if the Jacob Bitner age 75 on the 1870 Census for Chambersburg is mine--the age matches--he is listed as living with Sarah age 55, and three children ages 22-11). I have a fair amount of info from my 3rd great grandfather down and will share whatever I have. Tammie [email protected]
