Her maiden name was Siegrist. She married Johann Jacob "Jacob" Bitner. They had nine children that I know of; namely, Abraham (my husband's 2nd-gr-grandfather), Lydia, Leah, Elizabeth, Jacob, Carl, Henry C., and Casanna. Yes, Veronica was the mother of Casanna (Bitner) McCulley, wife of Jacob McCulley.
