Hi To All, Can anyone help please. I have been unable to find the correct birth or marriage details for my William JONES. I have marriage details for several William JONES but cannot determine if I have the right one. My William JONES, a fisherman was the father of Ellen JONES b 1817c who married John HOUSLEY in Liverpool 1839. The addresses given on the 1838 marriage certificate were Carruthers Street Liverpool and Ray Street Liverpool. The 1841 Liverpool census shows several Ellen JONES, but no William JONES old enough to be Ellen's father living in Ray Street Liverpool. By 1841, my Ellen JONES was married to John HOUSLEY and living in Great Meolse in Cheshire. They started a HOUSLEY dynasty in Great Meolse on the Wirral in Cheshire. . Their son, John HOUSLEY and Margaret SHERLOCK had 11 children, 7 of whom grew to adulthood and produced their own families.
