In doing some cross checking between the 1851 and 1881 Censuses (CD-ROMs) I noticed that what has been transcribed by LDS in 1881 as Edgemont (Cheshire and Cumberland) is Egremont in 1851. The latter sounds right to me - has anyone esle come across this and reached the same conclusion? Gil Upton
