All listers - The 1901 census came on line today Jan 1st. but it is over-loaded with requests and one cannot get to see the index much less get to see anything else. Is this census also available in local offices where someone could do a lookup. For example if I have an address in Birkenhead could SKS do a lookup. I am looking for one family that I found on the 1881 census and one of the family I found on the 1891 census which is the year she was married but before the census. I am therefore looking to see if she and her husband along with 4 or 5 children would be on the 1901 census in Birkenhead where they were married or in Port Sunlight where the husband was in 1881. They were in that area until they moved about 1902-4 to St. Helens where I know my mother was born. Here's hoping for a positive answer.. Joyce
