Hi Listers - Pardon my ignorance, but what kind of competition is a squiggle? I could dare let my imagination run wild I suppose. Cheers Joyce
Hi All, The squiggle competition was where there would be an odd squiggley design put in a square, and to win, you had to draw something recognisable with the "squiggle" in the picture. It was still in the Liverpool Echo in the 1960s......I know - my dad was one of the winners once...and also was a runner-up on a few occasions! I actually came across the cutting of his winning squiggle picture only at the weekend. Happy memories.
