Thomas Wild (b 1816, UK - d 1900, East Grand Forks, MN) was married to Mary [surname unknown] (b 1818, UK - d 1887, East Grand Forks, MN). They had at least two children. Mary Ann (b Sept. 04, 1842, UK - d Sept. 20, 1916, East Grand Forks) and Thomas. Mary Ann married (on Dec. 24, 1865, Brigham Church, Cockermouth, Cumberland) William M (Mordy?) Jackson (b Jan. 21, 1843, Whitehaven - d Mar. 27, 1913, East Grand Forks, MN). They emigrated to Canada in 1870 and a son, Thomas, was buried at sea. No data is known on Thomas. On Oct. 02, 1916, John Edward Jackson (my great-uncle) mailed a letter addressed to: Mr. Thomas Wild Birkenhead, England The letter begins, "Dear Uncle Tom....."
