In 1881 she was living at 5 Greenfield Cottages, Liscard, Cheshire, England with her husband Thomas Givin and her children, Mary and William Henry (listed as stepchildren), and James, Thomas, and Agnes, listed only as 'children'. Elizabeth's father was Malcolm McDonald (master mariner); his father was James Charlesworth (lawyer). David William Cook married Sarah Morris between 1881 and 1885. November 6, 1896. Elizabeth Charlesworth died Nov 6, 1896 after being ill for seven days with pneumonia in Cottage Hospital, Poulton cum Seacombe, Cheshire, UK. She was 38 years old. She was the wife of Samuel James Charlesworth a mariner's engineer's storekeeper of 42 Parry Street Seacombe. In attendance was Jane Kerr listed as Elizabeth's sister-in-law but more likely her sister. Jane lived at 20 Portia Street Poulton cum Seacombe, Cheshire, UK. The death was certified by J Walshl It was recoreded on the 7 Nov 1896 by Charles Stewart, registrar. The registration district was Birkenhead, subsistrict Wallasey, county Chester. This is the same place his sister, Annie Charlesworth, was born. The birth was registered in Walton, West Derby, Lancaster, UK. June 24, 1904, James Charlesworth arrived in America on June 24, 1904. He sailed aboard the Lucania from Liverpool, England. The Lucania is the same ship his sister, Annie, sailed on. She arrived 23 July 1904.
