Hello Folks, I'm lost again, I am looking for what was a Corn Porter ? Perhaps a fellow who transported corn from point A to point B ? Am I way out in left field with this ? I have found Corn Chandler, Corn Cutter, Corn Factor, Corn Meter but no Corn Porter. Also was there a lot of corn grown, and was it mainly for the people to eat, or more for the cattle ?
