Would SKS with the 1851 census please look up John ROWBOTTOM for me. In later censuses his place of birth is hard to decipher and could be any of the following: Houlton, Hatton, Halton, in Cheshire, ca. 1830. Thanks, Maureen

Hi Maureen I looked for John ROWBOTTOM for you on the 1851 census for Birkenhead and there is no-one of that name listed. There is also nothing on the Wirral CDs either. Closest is a family called ROWBOTHAM but they are from Sheffield. Regards, Jen
