Hi all, just to back up what Wendy said,my daughter born in 1977 was also registered in hospital,with my late husband in attendance.I always remember his reaction when asked if he was the father,OF COURSE I'M THE FATHER,he indignantly replied.We were then given a short birth certificate with my daughters name and date of birth.I have these short certificates for both my children and have never bothered to get full ones. annabelle.
