Hi Listers, I have recently received my copy of the 1851 census covering the Bidston area and have found who I believe to be myg.g.g.grandfather living at MARSH, BIDSTON (Not sure what the Marsh refers to) The entry is - STANLEY YOUDS widower age 53 Farm Labourer - Prenton JOHN YOUDS son age 24 Plasterer - Bidston MARY YOUDS daughter age 22 Servant at home - Bidston ANNE YOUDS daughter age 18 servant at home - Bidston THOMAS YOUDS son age 14 - Bidston CATHERINE YOUDS age 11 - Bidston (I think she is my g.g.grandmother) If anyone has access to the 1841 census I would really love to find out whether the family were listed in the Bidston area and whether this family includes the wife who I am hoping would be a MARY (nee CHATTERTON). I have received a copy of a birth certificate, which I was hoping was the THOMAS YOUDS listed above, but it is not.
