Carl, I am wondering if you would have an Edith FAIRCLOUGH listed in your 1949 directory who died possibly in Birkenhead in 1949. I have a small card with her name on it and also a Mr. & Mrs. Harold JONES. It is dated 1930 and there is an address on it: 12 Iris Avenue, Birkenhead. If neither of these names is at that address, I am wondering what name is? If this directory has an alphabetical index of names would there also be a Ernest Richard FAIRCLOUGH & family? I am having a difficult time trying to track down any descendents of his family. Thanks for your help.
