On a recent trip to my home town of Birkenhead, I spent a profitable hour in the library on Borough Rd looking at the 1901 census on microfiche. While I was there I saw a notice indicating that indexes to burials were available for a number of local cemeteries, including Flaybrick and Bebington. Unfortunately, I ran out of time before I could look at them. So, I was wondering if anyone who happens to be going to the Borough Rd library might be able to see if they can find a burial for Sarah Louisa BURTON (born 1848). I know she was alive in 1913 but is not in the same grave as her husband who died in 1937 (at age 94) and is buried in Bebington Cemetery. Given his age, it's probable that she predeceased him. Her father Josiah EASTMAN (b 1822) also lived in Birkenhead, at least at the time of the 1881 census, so she might be buried with him. I'm hoping she might be in Flaybrick or, perhaps, in a different grave from her husband, in Bebington. Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help. __________________________________________________________________ David N.
