Hi Joyce and anyone else who might be able to help, I noted an address in your recent e-mail; the same one that I have been left as a "clue" in my genealogy search. I have an old letter which gives the name of a relative. Letter was written between 1891 and 1926. Mrs. E. Powell 67 Daker (sic) St. Birkenhead, Cheshire, England. I do not know exactly how she is related to a Charles Arthur Winter, possibly his mother who had remarried. Would really like to find out more about her. Joan Winters in Randolph, Massachusetts, USA
Hi Joan and Joyce, Funny you should say that, I have a Wyer/Morrin family that lived in no 38 Dacre Street but they are connected to Dillon's. One of these, Edith Kathleen Dillon, married a Powell.....making her Mrs. E. Powell, they all lived around this area....I estimate Edith was born late 1800's to early 1900's. Too much of a coincidence?
