Hello to all My interests are with two families really, the SHAW's and the BANK's both from around Northwich originally. The main man was William Robinson SHAW born1831 Davenham to Charles Shaw and Martha GIBSON . He married in 1856 to Adelaide BANKS - Daughter of James BANKS and Sarah BURGESS of Northwich. They moved to Poolton Cum Seacombe around 1846, and according to the 1901 census Adelaide banks was living in Seacombe, as a widow, with two of her children and her sister aged 70. I can give a list of all of William SHAW's kids if anyone wants them, there were eight. I am sure there must be many people named BANKS and SHAW descend from these families.
