First I'd like to thank people, especially Babs for there help with my Wirral Jacksons - an immense help, cleared up some confusions and moved me on. Much of my research is in South Wales and I was surprised to come across a WIRRALIAN amongst them. when I found that my GGG grandmother was one Susanah (one 'n') CLEMENT born in Seacombe around 1849. Don't know how she ended up in South Wales! Any help/links welcomed. Other Wirral links: LEWIS - CAMPBELL - JACKSON - BODEN - OXTON - Possibly WHITTINGTON (more likely a skeleton in the family closet though) Many thanks, David Owen Davies.
Hi David You'll find the birth of your 3g-grandmother on the Cheshire BMD site at :- http://cheshirebmd.org.uk/ Click on the reference number on the right hand side (WAL/5/17) and you get an application form which you can print off and send for a copy certificate (gives the Registrar's address too).
