On the 1901 Census, they lived at 8 Yard, 43 Highgate, Civil Parish: Kendal, Eccle.Parish: Holy Trinity, Parliamentary Boro: Kendal Southern, Admin.County: Westmorland Alexander William Campbell, Head, Widower, age 40, Boot Machinist, born Scotland son: William C., single, age 16, Solicitors Clerk, born Birkenhead son: Alexander Bruce, single, 14, born Birkenhead son: Ernest D. {for Donald} single, age 12, born Westmorland, Kendal I'd really like to find out who his Wife was & when or where they actually married.....he was single & living in Birkenhead on 1881 Census; so, marriage was probably in that vicinity. .
