Her father was FRANK JACKSON (b 1897/1898) I believe in Birkenhead - His father ISAAC JACKSON (b ?) I believe also Birkenhead but haven't been able to trace them much at all, although.awaiting possible Death certificate for Isaac FRANK JACKSON (living at 14 Cross St) married: WHITTINGTON,: DORIS LAVINIA CAULDWELL WHITTINGTON (living at 32 Water St) in 1924 (Their children included Doris - May - Joyce - Betty - Frank and Walter) SISTERS: ETHEL (MARRIED CHARLES WOOLEY) and MONA. FATHER: WILLIAM COOPER WHITTINGTON (b 1869 - d 1899) MOTHER MARGARET ANN WHITTINGTON (nee CAMPBELL) born 1872 GREENOCK, SCOTLAND. They married at St Nicholas Church, Liverpool 1894 CAMPBELL: MARGARET ANN's mother was ANNIE CAMPBELL (nee BURNS) (born 1847in Scotland) ANNIE re-married before 1901 as she is listed on the 1901 census as ANNIE JONES (husband ROBERT JONES BAGSHOT, SURREY - BUTCHER) a little careless with husbands obviously though as he too had died before 1901! ANNIE'S other children included ALEXANDER CAMPBELL (b 1874) - GEORGE S CAMPBELL (b 1869) - JAMES CAMPBELL (b 1867) and WALTER CAMPBELL (b 1878) - all born GREENOCK Scotland apart from WALTER who was born in Birkenhead. ADDRESSES lived at include 32 Sanford St, Birkenhead (1891) - 39 Dover St, Birkenhead (1881) and 63 Lord St, Birkenhead (1901). BODEN Not my blood relations but my grandmother Doris Lavinia re-married after Frank Jackson died. She married ALBERT BODEN - who I think of as my grandfather. If he is of any interest to to anybody I have some fairly interesting funeral report cuttings about his brother with references to the Liberal party. Methodism and natural history on the Wirral.
