Two questions In the ancestry.com transcription of the 1901 census, there is a Winwood family. An examination of the image makes clear that the name is actually Winward. Any idea of how I could suggest they correct the transcription. The occupation of John Winward in 1901 is listed as Iron Driller. But in the same space there is a notation which I read as Mmach. Anybody know what that notation means? Fred Waring
