    3. Dear Gordon. Well you have done your homework, Good on you. In my wanderings, looking for connections, I have come to the conclusion that our origins came from Irby, because the Mill (which is now a public house) seems to be the place where they have been living at one time. (I have actually had a sherry in what would have been the kitchen ) I did not know at the time the significance . I am so grateful for any snippit of information, My grandma Youds as we call Catherine who married John Wilkinson the younger, was a Quaker she was born in Bidston, but John Wilkinson was born in Warrington, his father was Joseph, but I don't think Joseph was from Warrington. Catherine and John had 10 children, 9 were sons, many were killed in the 1st world war, I never met them, but I did meet Jack and Jo, so they must have had children, you are spread all over the Wirral, one would be a butcher, some went to sea, my grandfather followed in the footsteps of his father, he was a boilermaker. John Wilkinson played the violin, and played for local hops, and I suspect was in the orchestra for the operas. Anyway, thanks for communicating , perhaps we will eventually find connections, it is good, I think I have sparked a flood of info for others on the list. That much be good.
