Hi Keith, Well, I hadn't really until your email. I had only noted that Betsey/Elizabeth's father John Millington was supposedly 85 in the 1841 census. (b abt 1756). I couldn't find a definate birth for Elizabeth but the nearest I found was one bp at Daresbury on 7.5.1786, father John and mother Betty. So just now I found a marriage that fits; John Millington and Betty Ellams m 4.8.1782 at Runcorn. Have no idea if this is correct. We still need to find Samuel in 1851 - at least that will give us a birth place. Dear Juliet, thank you. For some time i tried to find were Ralph Peers died in FLORIDA but i have never found out a thing. Also i could find no info on ralphs mother after she came back to uk from America. The family are a bit of a puzzle to me but lack of info may be due to living in Malta. The only other thing i can suggest re samuel is that he died while living with children out of the area.Sorry not to have more.
