Hi List I am researching William Sutton farmer of Leasowe side Farm in 1881 who is my 3 x Great Grand Aunt Jane Hardman's husband. He married Jane in 1854 in St Peter Liverpool and had the following children: John William James classed as "Imbecile" on 1871/81 censuses Maria Ellen Joseph On the 1881 census (same page as William) there is a Emma Sutton Head of the Fender farm who could possible be William's sister who is with him on the 1841 census. Mike Have we ever been in touch before? I am descended from Elizabeth Hardman, elder sister of Jane who married Thomas Dunning in 1822 in Liverpool St Peter. Which Hardman are you descended from?
