Hello Mel, I also have an interest in DAVIES in Birkenhead. Mary Elizabeth DAVIES b. 1861 in Birkenead. Her parents were David DAVIES and Annie PARRY. She came to Australia on a date yet to be fixed and married Andrew James MOIR on 10 October 1885 at Townsville in Queensland. I can't get any info on David and Annie and I think they might have migrated with her, though I have no info. If you can shed any light on this family it would greatly assist my research. If it is part of you like, I can provide a lot of the details form this end (Australia).
