Hi all, Tonight is our first meeting in August, we previously missed August out due to holidays. Well this year we are giving it a go and members and visitors are welcome to come tonight for 7.30pm at the YMCA, Manor Road, Wallasey ( just down the road from the police station). The speaker tonight is Roy Dennett with ‘’Tales of the Tranmere Workhouse’’. Parking is available on the grounds or outside the YMCA, Wheelchair access via a ramp and we are on the ground floor. Entrance £1 includes tea and biscuits. After the speaker feel free to talk to anyone ( we’re a friendly bunch) about your Family History and how we may be able to help you. Sometimes time is a little short but we will do our best, you don’t need to speak to me in particular as we have many members who are very knowlegible about family and local history, just try and grab any committee member.
