I'm new to this list and looking for information about the birth of Mary Ann Flanagan. The 1881 census gives her birth year as 1865 in Birkenhead, father as Edward Flanagan. Can anyone add more to this or let me know where to write for a birth certificate? Vince Doyle

Hi Vince I don't have any information on your Flanagan, but I am researching the Doyle surname, my maternal grandmother's maiden name being Doyle. She did have a brother named Vincent, born 19 May 1897 in Pittston, Luzerne County, PA. Vincent and Regina (my gm)'s father was born in Birkenhead England in 1864 to William and Mary (Dever) Doyle. If any of this sounds familiar, I'd welcome a response.
