Mike I was up in Birkenhead last week and I have visited many times since I left. It isn't how I remember it and I usually get lost! So much has gone. I can find my way around Liverpool much easier, although a lot of that has disappeared and will disappear soon. A lot of the old Bootle houses are going, or have gone Does anyone have a copy of an old OS map that shows the old streets in central Birkenhead but on which they or someone else has drawn an outline of what is still there and what is no longer there, if you follow!!...
