There is a publication called "Birkenhead at War 1939-1945 that amongst other things lists the 500 or so civilians killed during the blitz. I haven't read this book but the equivilent publication for Wallasey (Wallasey at War 1939-1945) has names, ages, addresses relationship to other casualties and in some cases other family information.
