Hello Fred, there was (still is) a Welsh Chapel in Westbourne Rd, (at the end of Warwick St) and also a Methodist Church on the corner of Eastbourne Rd and Claughton Rd (which I think my family went to, I can't find anything about it, also Oxton Congregational Church at the top of Oxton Rd., they would be the nearest three. Hello Fred, mis-information, the Welsh Chapel (St Winifreds) in Westbourne Rd., wasn't built until 1890, I parked outside there this morning and noticed the datestone.
