Hello Listers, Many of you will be familiar with this signature: 'Bryan - The Celtic Laird', and for those of you who recognise the name, I have the following information: Bryan has, like many of you, been researching his 'family roots' throughout the length and breadth of the British Isles. More recently he has placed his energies into locating his younger sister and brother, who were both adopted in the late 1940's/early 1950's. As with searching ancestors, Bryan has hit many brick walls in his search for his siblings, but each brick wall has made him even more determined to discover the answers to his questions. .... If you watch the 'This Morning' Programme on ITV, tomorrow, Thursday, 22nd November 2001, you will be heartened to learn of his most recent success. He has been invited to appear on the programme, along with his sister 'Mary'! .... As someone, who has followed the 'ups and downs of Bryan's research, during recent times', I just know that I am going to need the box of Kleenex at my side! :)) .... A novelist couldn't have written a more poignant story', than the story of Bryan's life. In order to 'lay the ghosts', Bryan is now writing an in depth account of his childhood. I consider myself to be extremely privileged in that Bryan has shared these writings with me, .... writings which have me laughing, smiling, crying, .... so many emotions in each and every chapter, and I just know that when the final piece of the jigsaw is in place, and Bryan sends his book to be published, it is going to be a 'Bestseller'! I trust that the List Owners have no objection to my posting the above, but I believe that all 'Family History' begins with the 'Here and Now', and Bryan's story is most definitely the 'Here and Now'! .... "Thank you!" Vivien Blythe, Wirral Peninsula, "Happiness is helping a stranger find their roots!"
