Hello Ann Remember me, we met at the Hoylake Lifeboat Day a couple of years back? I was the one with the dogs! I have a copy of the Roberts book and as far as I know the post office on Market Street is still selling old copies off. If you want a copy let me know and I'll get one sent off to you. Hi Cath, great to hear from you again. Thanks for the offer of getting that book for me, it may have been a lot cheaper from the Market Street Post Office. But, I have just ordered it and received a message saying it has been despatched. It has cost me £20.90, when I treble that, to convert to Australian dollars it works out very expensive. I wish I had bought it when I was in Hoylake but I settled for several smaller books with photos of Hoylake which included The Lighthouse Inn in Market Street which was run by my G. Grandfather Joseph George BARLOW and the BARLOW Cottage, owned by my G. G. G. Grandfather Joseph BARLOW. Trust all is well in Hoylake and that the tide is still coming in every day. Anne.
