Has anyone any connection with or knowledge of: Hugh JONES, born 1854 in Holyhead, married to Mary Ellen EVANS, born 1858, daughter of John EVANS, self employed builder and joiner of Galton Street, Liverpool and wife Caroline JONES. Hugh was a tailor and his wife a dressmaker. They lived at "St Elmo", one of the row of houses which used to be on the present site of the Wallasey tunnel shaft at Seacombe. Hugh and Mary Ellen's children included: Caroline JONES, born 1897, died 1984. Caroline married John Henry KELLY, a mariner. John R JONES, born 1886, died 1952. John was the manager of Leyland's pawnbrokers in Borough Road Seacombe. He lived in Cliff Road, Wallasey. William Albert JONES, William married Florence GAFFNEY. David Railton
