Hi Mark, I confess this IS rather speculative, but as The Wirral seems quite a small area I thought it might be worth a try if you don't mind. I'm looking for Thomas G Blain who was married to Henrietta Bigland at St Hilary Wallasey in 1871. I don't have a dob as on his marriage certificate it just says "of full age", but I imagine from his wife's age it was somewhere between 1845-51 His father was William Blain. I haven't been able to find them on 1881 census, I think they may have emigrated to Canada by then. Just maybe they may turn up on one of your earlier ones, but I know it's a longshot, so if it's too much to ask, don't worry. Thanks anyway Regards Barbara LaneGet more from the Web.
