    3. Hello List, I am hoping some kind person can help me. Does anyone have a directory they could check for around 1914. The address I am interested in is 83 Victoria Road, Seacombe. I am interested in who lived at that address. I would appreciate any help anyone can give. Many thanks, Maureen, Oxfordshire

    3. Thomas Moore, saddler is given at that address both in Gore's 1912, and the 1914-15 Wallasey postal directory. By the way, you may like to know that Victoria Road Seacombe changed its name to Borough Road (c 1920's?) to avoid confusion with Victoria Road New Brighton. 3. Hello Ruth, Thank you for the information. I was hoping a family called PIERCE were living there. I have what I think is my father's sisters marriage certificate. The registration district is Birkenhead and the marriage took place at The Parish Church, Parish of St. Pauls, Seacombe. Her address is given as 83 Victoria Road. I am assuming that is Seacombe. Anyway thank you very much for looking.
