    3. Hi Janet, You may have just solved a question for me. I have ancestors who were married in The Parish Church of Liverpool and their addresses at the time of marriage were Park Lane and Pitt St(?). Can you tell me if Pitt St(?) is anywhere near Park Lane or if it is in Liverpool or Birkenhead? I have other ancestors who married in the same church, as they are all mariners, but they lived in Birkenhead. Thanks for any light you can shed. Dorothy, Canada

    3. Does this man appear in anyone's tree? William SHARP a drowned man Nov 18th 1799. St Hilary's Church Wallasey. I am interested in discovering the circumstances surrounding his death. I am in the process of reassessing the information I have about John SUTTON the Fisherman who was buried on the 14 November 1799 in the same graveyard. [My brickwall] There is some evidence to suggest that there was a storm of the Mersey coast the week procedding these 2 burials and I was wondering if they may be connected? 3. Hi Cyn. an e to wirralArchives at the town Hall Hamilton Sq. Birkenhead would let you know the schools around at the time they are very good there Cheers George Cynvogel@aol.com wrote: Would anyone have an idea of what school a child of a ship's engineer might have attended circa 1896 in Birkenhead--address 15 Fox St., Ward Grange? I assume these folks would have been poor, working class people. I would like to try the Wirral Archives for a registrar's listing of students; however, there appear to have been dozens of schools and I haven't a clue as to which school the child might have attended.
